Spring 2023 TCDC Lunch and Learn Series

The Teaching & Curriculum Development Centre (TCDC) is launching an in-person, monthly Lunch and Learn series to build community and bring instructional faculty and staff together. Come find out different ways your colleagues are making their teaching more effective, inclusive, and engaging. We also encourage you to share your ideas and tips on what works in the classroom with your colleagues.

For our first lunch and learn session, Faculty Perspectives on Implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), faculty members Patricia Aroca-Ouellette (Chemistry), Susan Sverdrup-Phillips (Sociology), and Erin Yorke (Education Assistant) will share their experiences implementing UDL principles and inclusive teaching strategies in their courses.

Bring your lunch, ideas, and questions for this first session! Register for Lunch and Learn: Faculty Perspectives on Implementing Universal Design for Learning on Jan. 24, 2023, from 12:30-1:30 pm in Room C203.

If you’d like to learn more about Universal Design for Learning (UDL) before attending this event, check out our blog, PD Playlist: Universal Design for Learning to discover some helpful resources.
