They offer both live webinars and an on-demand digital library of over 400 webinars, categorized into seven topics of relevance across the Langara community. Magna Commons
What is it?
Magna Commons is an on-demand digital library of 20-minute and 60-minute videos on an array of topics of keen interest to college instructors and administrators. Some of the themes include Grading & Feedback, Academic Integrity, Online Course Design, and Student Engagement.
Why would you sign up?
With hundreds of videos choose from, you’ll be sure to find something of interest. Their 20-minute sessions are perfect for those wanting shorter videos full of great information. When you log in, you’ll be able to access not only the videos, but handouts, transcripts, and certificates of completion.

Monday Morning Mentor Series
What is it?
The Monday Morning Mentor Series is a service from Magna Publications. Every Monday morning over the fall and spring, a new 20-minute video is offered on a timely topic of interest to college faculty and administrators.
Why would you sign up?
Each week’s video is new and you will have access for one full week. Topics are current and relevant including classroom management, teaching and learning, online teaching, and student engagement.
How do you sign up?
Check out the upcoming topics via the TCDC iweb calendar and register for that particular week. You will receive an access link and password for each session you sign up for.
