Our Seasonal Offerings: Get a Taste of TCDC!
This fall, TCDC is launching its new seasonal menu of professional learning! In addition to our regular workshop offerings, we have crafted a menu of starters, mains, and seasonal specials for your particular department needs.
Take out or dine in! We’ll come to you in-person or online with delicious options to enhance your department’s teaching practice.
Here’s what’s on the menu this fall:
Starters | 10 minutes
Choose from the following three mini-lesson options. We’ll do a quick lesson with your team to introduce one of the three principles of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework:
- UDL Principle of Engagement
- UDL Principle of Representation
- UDL Principle of Action & Expression
Mains | 20 minutes
Choose from one of the following three 20-minute sessions, in which we’ll be able to give your team a basic overview of these topics:
- Trauma-informed Teaching
- Open Education & Open Pedagogy
- Land Acknowledgements
Seasonal Specials | 40 minutes
For learning that may need more time, even over several sessions, we offer the following options:
- Pulling Together: A Guide for Teachers and Instructors
- Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- Creating Authentic Assessments
