How do I add content from the LOR?

Home » My Tools » LOR » How do I add content from the LOR?

You may need to add LOR (Learning Object Repository) content created by someone else to your course, E.g. for the Academic Integrity Resources Package).

  1. In your course, click the Course Materials dropdown menu in the navbar and choose Content.
  2. Once in content, select the Module or Week in the Table of Contents where you want the content to appear.
  3. Select the “Upload / Create” button and select Add Object from LOR.
  4. Once you select “Add Object from LOR”, another window will appear with several options to search or browse the LOR for content. If you know what you’re trying to add, search for it by name.

You can also click Show Repositories, to see all of the repositories you have access to currently.
  5. Once you have results, select the desired object and click on Next. You will be asked to choose from several link options. Choose the one that best suits your needs.

Please note that the Dynamic Link option will always point to the most recent version of the object within the LOR.  This means that when you (or others who have edit access to the resource) upload material to the LOR and overwrite an existing object, the content within Brightspace is automatically updated.
  6. Once you click on next, your content will display within your module.
