The Langara Library has been named a runner-up in the 2014 Charleston Photo Contest. The theme of the 2014 contest was “What’s your favourite library tradition?”
Origami cranes on display at the Library’s De-Stress Fest.
Electronic Resources Librarian Emma Lawson submitted a picture of an Origami Lounge from the Library’s annual De-stress Fest. The selection brings with it a $50 Amazon Gift Card and it’s place in the 2015 Charleston Desk Calendar given out to all attendees of the 2014 Charleston Conference.
The Charleston Conference is “an informal annual gathering of librarians, publishers, electronic resource managers, consultants, and vendors of library materials in Charleston, SC, in November, to discuss issues of importance to them all.”
