Do you use media in your classes? It’s important to make your bookings as far in advance as possible.
You can book the library’s DVDs and videos for specific dates and times for classroom showing. Titles that belong to other post-secondary institutions and some non-profit organizations may also be available. To make a booking
- use the the printed forms at the Check out Desk on the 1st floor of the library
- email media@langara.bc.ca,
- use the media booking form.
Since students can now sign out Langara videos for 3 days, it’s important to make your bookings as far in advance as possible.
It’s up to you to book a projector or video playback for the date of your classroom showing. Make arrangements for this equipment with Instructional Media Services.
The Library also subscribes to a huge collection of online streaming video, which does not need to be booked in advance. More information on finding DVDs, videos, and streaming video at Langara is online.
