[CANCELLED] Learning Lab: Hands-on with Padlet (In-Person)

Padlet is a digital platform that takes the concept of a notice-board or bulletin board and enhances it for the digital age. It is a space where instructors and students can share rich media, including text, images, audio, video and links. Padlets are instantly updated in real-time so anyone sharing the space can see changes right away.

In this session you will learn how to create Padlets, either from scratch or using provided templates. After participating in this lab you should be able to:

• Access and login to Padlet using your Langara Padlet account
• Create a Padlet with a variety of digital media
• Set up your Padlet(s) using different settings for design, interactivity, engagement and sharing
• Embed your Padlets in Brightspace or PebblePad
• Access further resources on using Padlet

This lab is a participatory session. We encourage you to bring ideas for teaching content and activities that can be adapted for use in Padlet. Participants must bring a laptop or tablet. Attendance at the Workshop More than a digital whiteboard: 7 ways to enhance your teaching using Padlet is encouraged but not required.
