Effective November 7, 2012, most of Bill C-11, the Copyright Modernization Act is in Force as noted in today’s Canada Gazette. It marks the most significant changes to Canadian copyright law in decades.

Staff will be available to give advice on copyright questions relating to teaching materials, including: paper course packs, digital materials, library e-resources, and media. Find out what you can use freely and what requires permission. Feel free to bring specific resources for review.
