Talking to Students and Developing Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence Use

January 8 @ 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM PST

Thinking about starting the term with a discussion on generative artificial intelligence? Not sure where to begin?

Regardless of which side of the fence you sit on, ChatGPT and Bing AI are here and artificial intelligence in education isn’t going away. Learning more about gen AI and having frank discussions about your expectations on AI use in the class is the first place to begin.

Join EdTech and TCDC for a led discussion focused on sharing ideas, resources and how to talk about this new technology with students. We’ll share examples of classroom guidelines being used by other instructors and institutions.

We invite instructors who have already developed guidelines and/or assignments to bring them along for discussion at this session.
