Learning Lab : Save Time Marking with Rubrics (In-Person)

Bring your existing rubric or create a new one in this hands-on Learning Lab where you’ll get one-to-one advice on how to make your rubric more effective or how to recreate your paper version in Brightspace.

After participating in this lab, participants should be able to:

• Define the purpose of the assignment or assessment
• Decide which type of rubric will be used with their assignment
• Create statements of expected performance at each level of the rubric
• Transfer their analog rubric into a digital version on Brightspace
• Associate their rubric with the assignment in Brightspace

This lab is a participatory session. An EdTech Advisor, TCDC consultant and Support Specialist will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice. We encourage you to bring an assignment or an existing rubric. Participants must bring a laptop or a tablet.
