Padlet is an online platform where users can collaborate on real-time shared boards by adding and editing posts. You can also add rich multimedia, such as images, links, and documents. Posts can be arranged in various formats to best suit the content, including whiteboards, grids, timelines, and maps. Padlet offers a range of interactive features such as anonymous contributions, comments, and reactions.

If you are having issues with Padlet, always contact your instructor first. This is important not only so that they can help us figure out the issue on your behalf, but also so that they know you’re having a problem that might cause delays. You can also find support on the Padlet help site.

How to Access Padlet

Disable Remake of Padlets

We recommend that students limit the option for others to remake their padlets. Remaking a padlet allows others to copy the entirety of the padlet including any personal details in posts.

  1. Go to the Settings menu by clicking the cog icon on the right-hand side of your padlet.
  2. Scroll down to Content.
  3. Under Remakes, change this from Everyone to Admins only.

  3. If this does not resolve your problem, let your course instructor know.
