Langara/Riipen Experiential/WIL Project Launch

Calling all instructors looking for real experiential / work integrated learning projects to embed in your courses in 2024!

Langara has signed a new partnership with the Riipen/RBC ReachUp Program! Instructors will have free access to the Langara / Riipen dashboard from December 2023-March 2025.

How to get on the Langara Riipen portal to check it out:

• Log on and take a peek at https://app.riipen.com/portals/jEzvoLna
• If you have not created a Riipen account yet:
• Click “Sign up” in the top right, and create an account (2 min YouTube video on signing up).  Once the account is created and signed in, you can click the link and the screen will have an orange “Request to Join” button below the book banner. Click this and we will approve your request to join the Langara portal.
• If you already have a Riipen account:
• Click “Log in” in the top right. Once signed in, the Langara portal will display an orange “Request to Join” button. Click this to join. (If you are already logged into Riipen, the “Request to Join” button should already be visible.  4 min YouTube walkthrough of your Educator’s Dashboard

• Individualized Instructor support from the Riipen team to acclimatize, make match suggestions, answer questions and more – in time for Fall 2024!

Instructor project options:

1. With Riipen’s help, draft a brief tailored to your course requirements, which becomes a source of inbound employer/industry leads that you can engage with.
2. Select from over 31,000 organization and thousands of live projects in business, sciences, the arts and community/service learning.
3. draft a brief tailored to your course requirements for employers to respond to with a suggested project
4. Optional: If you have an existing industry contact(s), you can invite them onto Riipen for free in private mode to benefit from student milestone tracking on Riipen during the project.
