BCcampus: FLO Friday: An Introduction to the Digital Literacy Framework

This webinar is offered by BCcampus.

This Facilitating Learning Online (FLO) Friday workshop is designed to introduce participants to the foundations outlined in the B.C. Post-Secondary Digital Literacy Framework and to provide an overview of the B.C. Digital Literacy Hub. This resource includes a variety of tools and materials, such as a self-assessment Digital Literacy Superpower quiz, course materials, and professional development resources tailored for BC’s post-secondary educators. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand and discuss the eight thematic competencies critical to digital literacy in B.C.’s post-secondary education;
• Identify their strengths as well as untapped potential using the digital superpower quiz; and
• Locate, reflect upon, and share a chosen resource from the OER Repository that resonates with their educational needs.
