In the second workshop, we’ll explore Brightspace HTML templates, designed to elevate the student learning experience. Learn how to revamp the appearance and structure of your course content while ensuring they adhere to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Accessibility standards (WCAG). No coding required!

Langara’s Brightspace HTML templates can be used to create engaging, interactive, and accessible content pages in your Brightspace course. Templates include formatting, styling and consistent, structured layouts. Templates also incorporate dynamic page elements such as accordions and tabs. Learn how to build Brightspace better with visually appealing and accessible Brightspace pages.

This session will explore:

• The benefits of using templates
• Using the Brightspace HTML editor
• How to apply templates to new and existing Brightspace content
• Incorporating different template elements to create engaging pages

This session will focus on demonstrating how to use templates in Brightspace. However, attendees are encouraged to bring content that they want to update with templates and facilitators will provide guidance and assistance to do so.
