While many view Abilene Christian University’s (ACU) Mobile Learning as a technology initiative it really is a learning initiative. Mobility is a disruptive innovation that ACU is using as a catalyst to bring about significant change in its learning environment. This session focuses on how to leverage mobile technology to enhance learning at Langara College. Before listening to Dwayne’s Presentation, participants are encouraged to view Daniel Pinks 10 minute video “Drive: The surprising truth about what motivates us” at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6XAPnuFjJc. This video sets the stage for the notion of students being motivated by Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose, and how mobility helps.
