Think you have what it takes to become a facilitator? Here are some requirements to be eligible to apply:
- Must have completed the course supported by PSL with a minimum B+ grade
- Must have an average GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must be a current student for the semester they are a facilitator
Here are some roles and responsibilities of a facilitator on a weekly basis:
- 3 to 4 hours re-attending lectures to take notes, participate as a peer, and to model good student behaviour
- 2 hours for Peer+ sessions (1 hour per session with possibility of extended/additional sessions prior to exams)
- 2 hours of preparation for Peer+ sessions (1 hour per session)
- 1 hour of meetings (connecting with the faculty member teaching the course section; meeting with the PSL supervisor)
