When Should You Take DASSH Courses?
DASSH courses are part of what makes DASSH unique and valuable. Students will gain the most benefit from the DASSH courses if taken at the recommended times in your program pathway.
1199
You should take DASSH 1199 after completing a minimum of 6 credits in Social Sciences and Humanities. Usually in your 2nd or 3rd term as a DASSH Student. 1199 is currently only offered in the Spring (Jan – April Term)
2000
DASSH 2000 should be taken early in your program. The earlier you create your e-portfolio, the more time you have to work on it. You should take DASSH 2000 by your 3rd term. DASSH 2000 is offered in all terms, but may be cancelled if enrollment is low.
2199
You are advised to take DASSH 2199 at the end of the program, and after you have completed your Applied Course requirement. You should begin discussions 2 or 3 terms in advance of taking DASSH 2199. 2199 is currently only offered in the Summer (May – Aug Term)
