Specifying Group Enrollment Type

Once you’ve set up your group category, you must specify the enrolment type and choose some advanced options.

  1. Select an Enrollment Type.
  2. Specify the Number of Groups to create or the Number of Users per group depending on the Enrollment Type you chose.

Advanced Properties

  1. Select Auto-Enroll New Users if you want users who register in the course after the groups have been set up to be enrolled in groups automatically.
  2. Select Randomize users in Groups if you want users to be placed in groups randomly. If this option is not chosen, users are placed alphabetically based on the classlist.
