Adding Modules

In order to add content such as topics or links to course activities, you must first create Modules.

To add modules to your course content:

  1. In Content, click on the Add a Module… button at the bottom of the Table of Contents box or the bottom of the content list.

  1. The Add a Module button will turn into a text entry box. Give the module a title and press Enter. The “Module added successfully” box will appear.

The new module will appear in the Table of Contents and in the content list; you can click and drag the module to change its position in order.

  1. You can now add new or existing items to the module directly in the content list, or click on the module’s title in the Table of Contents to edit the individual module. From this view you can add the module to another existing module as a “sub-module” or make changes to the module’s title or completion status.

You can also add sub-modules directly to existing modules by clicking on the New or Add Existing Activities buttons.
